The Corporate Games collectively form Australia's largest multi-sport championships. Sydney hosted the first Games (in which businesses participate to raise much-needed funds for charities) in 1993, with over 1,200 competitors taking part. The Games expanded to Melbourne in 1997 and then to Brisbane in 2000 and are now held annually in each of these capital cities (along with a 'Winter Games' in Thredbo).
Each year the various Corporate Games attract a total of more than 22,000 participants from thousands of organisations around Australia. Over 140,000 individuals, representing 3,000 companies have competed in the Games so far. (The largest team to date was from the Queensland Government who entered 1,519 employee athletes this year.)
In Double Drummer's 6th year as an alliance partner of the NSW Corporate Games, you can participate in your very own multi-sport event in 2013 AND help raise money for Australian Diabetes Council. Join Double Drummer and compete in the DD Corporate Games team from March 14-17, 2013.
If you work for yourself, for a company that's not participating in the Games, or you just want to join in the fun, be part of the Double Drummer team! It's a great way to meet new friends while playing your favourite sport and it's open to all ages and skill levels.
To compete in the Games under the DD banner and help us raise money for Australian Diabetes Council, simply join up as a Double Drummer member and then choose the sports in which you'd like to compete. There are 20 popular sports from which to choose and all events will be held in and near Sydney on one of four days, with the Games Award Dinner to be held on Monday evening March 19. Individual and company medals will be awarded.
CHOOSE YOUR SPORT
You can choose to join individual and/or team events and are eligible to play more than one sport as long as the events are not scheduled for the same day.

Click here to tell us NOW what sport you'd like to play whether for individual or team events. Team sports (e.g. Basketball) need a minimum of 7 players. If we receive sufficient entries early enough, we can try and make sure nobody misses out. Please include a phone number so we can quickly organise all the teams. Final entries close Wednesday, 13 Feb 2013.
If you want more details on the regulations of the sport/s of your choice, click on the name of the sport above and download details of the sport/s in which you’re interested. Note: We'll enter all DD competitors at the same time. There's no need to fill in an Entry Form.
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
Entry Fees
There are different entry fees for different sports, but most range between $50 and $60 per person. (Note: There are a couple of exceptions such as Golf at $120 per person, which includes lunch or dinner… and Sailing at $195 per person where you get to crew on a 36' yacht supplied by the NSW Corporate Games.) You will receive an e-mail with all the Games' and payment details after your team is finalised.
Uniforms
A team wouldn’t be complete without its uniform. Double Drummer has organised all uniform apparel at cost to you. You will need to purchase a shirt (cap is optional) to wear as part of the team during the Games. See choices below.

Games Awards Dinner
This is purely optional, but if you’d like to join in the fun with your DD team mates at the Games Awards Dinner on Monday evening, March 16, The Establishment Hotel, Room 3, 252 George St, Sydney, the cost is $TBC per head.
Note well: ALL profits from the NSW Corporate Games will go directly to Australian Diabetes Council to help all people with diabetes via research, education, advocacy and awareness programs. Double Drummer is organising member participation in the 2013 Games completely FREE of charge and will not profit in any way by entering a team.
Insurance
Please note that your entry fees do not include Personal Accident Insurance. It is up to each participant to have their own insurance that covers them in the event of an injury.
