“I have my own reasons for supporting The Heart Research Institute. I was just 12 years old when my dad suffered a heart attack and collapsed in front of me. It was undoubtedly a major catalyst for pushing myself to become an athlete noted for being fitter than any other during my competitive years.

“I have now dedicated my life to spreading the message that Australians need to be fitter and healthier at a time when obesity and heart disease have become the greatest health issues in our history. Accordingly I support the wonderful work done by our internationally renowned Heart Research Institute and Double Drummer provides me with another platform to help spread the word.”
